Water level in the brine tank continues to rise beyond normal levels.

If you have a problem, first check the bypass position. Then check for kinked drain or overflow lines. Then call Harvey technical support.

Open a nearby cold tap for 2 minutes to flush out any debris or air pockets caused by the plumbing work. Close the tap.

Open a cold-water tap for a few minutes to clear any air pockets and fine resin particles.

Push the high-pressure drain tubing firmly onto the dedicated drain barbed fitting at the back of the softener. Secure it with a hose clamp. Route the other end to your waste pipe or standpipe.

Before we dive into the installation process, let's take a look at the components that come with the Harvey HV3 water softener:

Connect the "Out" hose from the HV3 back to your household plumbing.

The HV3 is designed to fit under a standard kitchen sink. Ensure the surface is level and capable of supporting the unit's weight when full of salt and water.

Identify the rising main pipe. Cut a section out to make room for the Harvey HV3 bypass valve and connection hoses. Ensure you cut the pipe in a straight line for a clean connection. Step 3: Install the Bypass Valve

What type of do you have (e.g., combi-boiler, unvented, gravity-fed)?

Because the Harvey HV3 is non-electric, calibration is mechanical. This is the most misunderstood part of the manual.
