When this "evolution timer" hits zero, the game checks a set of conditions, and if enough are met, the digivolution will occur. According to the game's mechanics, each possible evolution has a set of requirements divided into four main groups: Stats, Weight, Care Mistakes, and a Bonus requirement like battle wins or happiness.
